On July 13th, the world’s elite mountain bikers converged on this picturesque town, ready to conquer a course brimming with challenges and thrills.
Van Eck and Tormena on Top of the World in Aalen
In a dazzling display of skill and determination, Jeroen van Eck from the Netherlands claimed his first-ever UCI world title, while Italy’s Gaia Tormena secured her fifth! The urban track through Aalen’s charming streets provided the perfect backdrop for this fierce competition, where speed, strategy, and sheer guts were on full display.
And yet another world champion with the Noodles
With Van Eck, we have another world champion using Pepi’s Tire Noodles, which provided him with greater security and control on the demanding track, allowing him to maintain top performance throughout the race.

Vlad Sabau, challenging Conditions at Romanian National Mountain Bike Championships
This year's races took place in Cheile Grădiștei on the same challenging track used for the European Championships earlier in the year. The course had become even more difficult due to rain, which washed away sections and exposed more rocks, making the terrain rougher for riders.

Short track is Carla Hahn's favourite discipline, "because I can start well". In the qualifying runs for the short track final, known as heats, she had already picked "the perfect starting position" for the final in order to overtake as many of her competitors as possible from the third row of the grid

Trek Future Racing Makes a Splash at World Cup Opener: Podium Success in Brazil’s Heat and Dust!
After rigorous preparation, our team shone at the double World Cup event in Brazil. Brazilian champion Giuliana Salvini Morgen clinched victory in the preparatory race. In the World Cup events, our riders consistently impressed, with Emilly and Bjorn securing podium finishes. Despite intense competition, Emilly secured 2nd place overall in the World Cup standings. Additionally, we organized a successful talent day for young Brazilian riders, further cementing our commitment to fostering the next generation of cyclists.

David List Surges to 14th Place, Carla Hahn Secures Third in World Cup: Incredible Achievements!
The Mountain Bike World Cup team embarked on an adventurous journey from Mairiporã to Araxá, Brazil, expecting challenging gravel roads and outback conditions. Despite encountering some potholes along the way, the ride was manageable. David List of the Lexware Mountain Bike Team climbed from 62nd to 14th place in the men's cross-country race, achieving his best World Cup placement yet. Carla Hahn, in her debut U-23 season, impressed with third place in the short track and seventh place in the cross-country race. Meanwhile, Paul Schehl secured his first top ten result in the U-23 men's cross-country race, marking a significant achievement for the team.
